My favorite photos from your session will be the ones where you aren't even looking at the camera. Where your toddler is being airplaned through the air and you're laughing at his adorable squeals. The detail photo where her tiny hand is wrapped around your finger. Because those are the photos that are going to the ones you're going to look back at one day and say I miss those tiny buttery smooth fingers or the way he used to giggle. Truth to be told, I thrive on the chaos of young families with small children - I think it's where the true magic is. And I think it's a stage that should be beautifully captured.
I love to pick private or quiet locations where we don't need to worry about people walking past or dodging wedding parties in popular photography spots. Because it gives your family the freedom to be you while giving me the unhindered ability to capture the magic unfolding from any angle.
The other option is shooting at your home. Some of my clients have beautiful properties or love the idea of a home session. Please know this is always an option as well (as pictured below)!
